2019 Nissan Frontier

The 2019 Frontier comes with two cab versions: the King Cab and the Crew Cab. The King Cab comes in five trim levels, S, SV 4-Cylinder, SV V6, Desert Runner, and Pro-4X. The Crew Cab is available in six trim levels: S, SV V6, Midnight Edition, Desert Runner, Pro-4X, and SL. All 2019 Frontier models are built around fully boxed ladder frames that are full length and come in six available exterior colors. The Frontier's exterior design carries on the Nissan truck heritage, with large bumpers, short front and rear overhangs, an angled strut grille, and large, stamped-steel geometric fender flares. The Desert Runner in the 4x2 version also features 16-inch off-road aluminum-alloy wheels, as well as unique Desert Runner decals, tailgate badge, and a satin chrome grille.

Choose from the 2.5-liter 16-valve four-cylinder engine or the 4.0-liter 24-valve V-6 engine. The four-cylinder engine is built around a lightweight, aluminum engine block that gets 152 horsepower and 171 pound-feet of relentless torque but still delivers a smooth ride. The V-6 engine is backed by 261 horsepower and a monster 281 pound-feet of torque. The available Flex Fuel Vehicle feature allows you to choose from standard gasoline, ethanol E85, or a mixture of these two fuels.

The Frontier's safety features leave you firmly in control. Hill Start Assist allows the truck to stop and start smoothly on an incline, while Hill Descent Control facilitates a smooth downhill descent. Both features are standard on the SL, V-6 SV, and PRO-4X models that are equipped with automatic transmission. The two-wheel Brake Limited Slip system also comes standard on all 4x2 models in the lineup.
