2020 Nissan Armada

The Armada is available with three different trims, SV, SL and Platinum. Exterior options available on all trims include hands-free entry, heated mirrors, roof rail crossbars, welcome lighting, and an impact sensor. The SV is equipped with 18-inch tires and an optional power liftgate. For the SL and Platinum trims, they come standard with 20-inch tires, rain-sensing wipers, and an optional power moonroof. The Platinum also includes a front wiper deicer and an option to upgrade to 22-inch tires.

Nissan keeps it simple with the engine, offering only a powerful 5.6-liter V-8 that produces 394 pound-feet of torque and 390 horsepower across all trims. You'll feel the power on the highway, around curves, and while passing.

Rear-wheel-drive is standard with a four-wheel-drive option available. Also standard is a seven-speed automatic transmission, seating for eight and adaptive cruise control. It has an estimated 19 miles per gallon rear-wheel-drive and 18 miles per gallon four-wheel-drive. The Armada has towing room to spare with 8500 pounds maximum capacity. It also includes a four-wheel independent suspension as well as a front and rear stabilizer bar.

When it comes to interior luxury and convenience, the 2020 Nissan Armada really shines. All trims come standard with Bose premium brand stereo system with 13 Bose premium brand speakers that include a subwoofer, satellite radio w/ real-time traffic, eight-inch touch screen, and Bluetooth capability. In addition, standard features include leather steering wheel, push-button ignition, automatic dual-zone climate control, manual rear seat easy entry, adjustable pedals, multi-level heated, height-adjustable driver and passenger seat with power adjustable lumbar support, driver seat with eight-way power adjustment and passenger seat with six-way power adjustment and reclining rear seats. The base SV trim has premium cloth seats and a manual folding split-bench third-row seats with optional power-folding third-row seats. The SL trim adds electro-chromatic inside rearview mirror (optional on the SV), leather seats, and remote start. Upgrade to the Platinum which adds a rear-seat entertainment system that includes two seven-inch headrest monitors, a pair of wireless headphones and DVD player, a heated steering wheel, passenger and driver cooled seats, multi-level rear heating system, heated second-row seats, leather door trim, and optional second-row captain's chairs.

Another area the Armada excels in is safety. All trims come equipped with dual front side-mounted airbags, automatic emergency braking, front, rear and third row head airbags, pre-collision safety system, rear door alert, front and rear parking sensors, and a rearview camera standard. The SL and Platinum trims have a 360 degree, Around View camera. Beyond the base model, the Armada adds front fog/driving lights (optional on SV). Optional features include distance control assist, blind-spot monitoring system as well as a backup collision monitoring system. The Platinum adds intelligent blind spot and lane departure warnings accident avoidance system and I-RVM intelligent rear-view mirror.
