In Great Falls, Montana, there are many options for dining out, including Asian restaurants. Here’s a look at the best Asian places to eat in the city.

Kobe Seafood & Steak

This is a classic Teppanyaki-style restaurant and is tons of fun for a family night out or a night with friends. If you’re unfamiliar with the style, you gather 8-10 guests around a large, flat-iron grill and the wait staff comes to take your order. The chef then comes out with all the ingredients and cooks the meal in front of you.asian bbq in great falls montana

The chefs at Kobe Seafood & Steak are highly skilled, are full of personality, and will do all sorts of tricks. Flipping shrimp high in the air to land on your plate and creating an onion volcano that erupts in flames are prime examples of their antics.

The food is fantastic, as well. The sushi is cut fresh to order. The steaks are cooked to perfection, and the seafood is fresh and fantastic. Bring your appetite and your sense of adventure, because you’ll have a great time at Kobe.

Suki Cafe

Located on 10th Avenue South, Suki Cafe serves up fantastic Japanese, Thai, and sushi. At Suki, you can enjoy your meal at the giant wrap-around Sushi bar or full-service from a table. They also have a great patio for when the weather turns nice.

The menu features appetizer favorites such as Tuna Tataki, seared rare in a Ponzu sauce, and Steamed Edamame dusted with salt and pepper. Or, you can start with the more unusual Sakamushi, which is a plate of steamed mussels in a Thai sauce. Tom Yum soup is made in traditional fashion, as is the miso soup with tofu.

For Sushi, the menu has over 20 specialty rolls. Dynamite rolls with crab and scallops and TNT rolls with scallops are listed beside others, like the Rainbow Roll topped in tuna and avocado, or the Strawberry Roll, which strangely enough doesn’t have any strawberries in it.

At Suki, you can enjoy a classic entree such as Pad Thai, or go out on the edge and gobble up some frog legs. Combos and lunch plates are available all day long, and they have a great sake and wine menu.

Maple Garden

This American-style Chinese restaurant is located on 9th Avenue South. Classic appetizers such as crab Rangoon, barbeque pork ribs, and pot stickers are sure to please. They also have nine soups made fresh every day, from won ton soup to sizzling rice soup.

Kung Pao beef, chicken, or pork will spice up your palate. Other favorites, such as Mongolian beef or sweet and sour pork served with white rice, are made just the way you love them. They also have two family-sized meals. The Pine is only $15.95 per person, and the Maple is $17.95 per person. Both come loaded with soup, appetizers, entrees, sides, and fortune cookies.

Next time you’re craving good Asian food in Great Falls, check out one of these fine restaurants. Your taste buds will thank you.
